Effective treatment for peroneal tendinopathy
The M.A.D. micro-therapy unit provides quick relief from symptoms such as pain and inflammation whilst healing your peroneal tendinopathy up to four times faster than standard treatments.
The M.A.D micro-therapy unit is the world's smallest and most effective PEMF therapy device, providing sustained healing treatments for the most rapid recovery from peroneal tendinopathy possible.
Treating your peroneal tendonitis couldn't be easier; you simply position the tiny unit over the painful area using the ultra-thin, self-adhesive hypoallergenic pads and then simply switch it on and leave it to heal your Peroneal tendinopathy.
The M.A.D therapy unit produces no sensation or side effects, and is so comfortable to use and so small that you can use it to treat your peroneal tendinopathy in almost any situation even while you sleep.
Used in 40 countries worldwide by clinics, athletes and the general public
The advanced micro-electronics of the M.A.D therapy unit means that it is extremely energy efficient and supplies a massive 200 hours of healing therapy before its batteries need to be replaced; the lithium coin-cell batteries are cheap and easily replaced.
What is Peroneal tendinopathy?
Peroneal tendinopathy is an inflammation of the peroneal tendon that cause pain around the outside of the ankle, underneath the outside ankle bone. Peroneal tendinopathy is often caused by over use in sports or leisure activities, particularly in football, dancing and running.
Many tendon injuries are caused by either repetitive or sudden overuse and can be difficult to heal, sometimes taking many months.
Healing times for tissues and structures in the body vary greatly. Your skin is normally quick to heal as it has an excellent blood supply and your skin will quickly repair itself if left to do so with the simple application of a band aid. However, tendons are normally very slow to heal because, these extremely strong and tough connective tissues that attach muscles to bone, have relatively small blood supplies which dramatically increases their healing time.
Standard treatment advice is complete immobilisation of damaged tendons which is often difficult to achieve and can lead to rehabilitation complications when movement resumes. Many people experience long term pain and disability from a simple injury and often resort to steroid injections with limited results.
Thankfully there is a better way to treat tendon injuries, strains and sprains
and that is with sustained PEMF therapy
The MAD-1 PEMF therapy unit provides sustained low energy PEMF therapy that rapidly reduces inflammation and promotes healing whilst helping to prevent further damage to the tendon and surrounding tissues. A recent NASA study found that this type of sustained low frequency, low energy PEMF reduced cell regeneration times by 75%.
