How many MAD-1s will I need to effectively treat myself?Small joints such as fingers, wrist or feet will only require you to use one device per joint. Larger joints such as shoulders, hips and knees will require the use of 2 to 4 devices per joint to provide the most rapid and effective treatment. The MAD-1 micro therapy unit comes with a manual that clearly explains how to use the MAD-1 units. They are very easy to use as they only have a simple on/off button as they have already been set to provide the optimum therapeutic treatment.

“About six months ago I
stared to develop arthritis in my one of my fingers; it was
painful and gradually became more and more inflamed. Within four
months, three of my fingers had gone the same way and were
causing me enough pain to interfere with my sleep and, they were
making playing the piano and writing very difficult indeed. I
had been using painkilling creams provided by my doctor, but
these had absolutely no effect on the inflammation and very
little on the pain. I have been using your devices now for three
weeks, I call them 'my little miracles', and I just wanted to let
you know that I have been absolutely delighted with them! I have
treated the three effected fingers for about 9 hours each night,
while I am asleep. There has been a marked reduction in
inflammation and an increase in my mobility, but most
importantly of all they DO NOT HURT ANYMORE! “ "I bought 2 of your
devices for my mother to treat her arthritis in her knee. I
thought I would let you know how well they have worked for her,
she is walking better than I have seen her in ages. We have both
been very pleased with the results." |

| "I am very pleased
that I discovered your little units. They have particularly
helped the arthritis in my hands which hardly bothers me at
all anymore." Louise. "Thanks
for all the advice and support you provided. The hip is much
much better and am treating the points you suggested every
night. Many thanks." "Been a professional tennis coach for twenty years and
now have the arthritis in my elbow to show for it. Have used
so many forms of treatment for it over the years but
nothing, and I mean nothing, has come close to reducing the
symptoms to the degree that your little gizmos do -
very impressed!" "I've bee treating my arthritic wrist with your units for
only 10 days and the pain has now completely stopped!" |

a joint. The MAD-1 can be successfully used to treat most forms of arthritis* as it works directly on the inflamed area providing effective drug free pain relief. *the MAD-1 should not be used on "septic arthritis" or with "joint infections", you should consult your medical professional immediately for advice with these conditions. |

Types of arthritisThere are different forms of arthritis and each has a different cause. The most common form of arthritis, osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease) is a result of trauma to the joint, infection of the joint, or age. Other arthritis forms are rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis, which are autoimmune diseases in which the body attacks itself. Septic arthritis is caused by joint infection. Gouty arthritis is caused by deposition of uric acid crystals in the joint, causing inflammation. There is also an uncommon form of gout caused by the formation of rhomboid crystals of calcium pyrophosphate. This gout is known as pseudogout. All arthritis feature pain. Pain patterns may differ depending on the type of arthritis and the location. Rheumatoid arthritis is generally worse in the morning and associated with stiffness; in the early stages, patients often have no symptoms after a morning shower. In the aged and children, pain might not be the main presenting feature; the aged patient simply moves less, the infantile patient refuses to use the affected limb. Elements of the history of the disorder guide diagnosis. Important features are speed and time of onset, pattern of joint involvement, symmetry of symptoms, early morning stiffness, tenderness, gelling or locking with inactivity, aggravating and relieving factors, and other systemic symptoms. Physical examination may confirm the diagnosis, or may indicate systemic disease. Radiographs are often used to follow progression or assess severity in a more quantitative manner.
