Arthritis
“About six months ago I
stared to develop arthritis in my one of my fingers; it was
painful and gradually became more and more inflamed. Within four
months, three of my fingers had gone the same way and were
causing me enough pain to interfere with my sleep and, they were
making playing the piano and writing very difficult indeed. I
had been using painkilling creams provided by my doctor, but
these had absolutely no effect on the inflammation and very
little on the pain. I have been using your devices now for three

Repetitive strain injury

"I had
suffered from carpel tunnel syndrome for a long time and I
finally decided to have surgery, firstly on my left wrist and
then on my right wrist after my recovery. However, 10 weeks
after the surgery on my left wrist, it was no better, in fact it was worse.
My physio friend told be about your product and I decided to
give it a go. I am so glad I did. I have treated the wrist that
hadn't been operated on first and was surprised and delighted
that after the first few treatments the tingling in my hand had
almost completely gone. I continued to use the unit and within
the first week I could do things I hadn't been able to do in

Insomnia

“MAD-1s have helped me to
manage my insomnia more effectively than anything else I have
tried over the last 30 years! I now sleep for six or seven hours
a night, virtually every night, which is a vast improvement over
the 3 to 4 hours that I have been 'surviving' on. The MAD-1s
really have dramatically improved the quality of my sleep.” From John. "About 6 months ago I got a new job, which is great and I really enjoy it, but it is very demanding and I started to have problems going to sleep at night. I tried the over the counter herbal remedies and was disappointed when they had no effect, apart from leaving me feeling even more drowsy! Restless legs syndrome
"I have suffered with
restless legs since I was in my 30's, I'm now 65. I used to be
able to cope by stretching and walking around but more recently
this has helped less and less. A friend suggested that I try
acupuncture but I have a morbid fear of needles so that was out
of the question. It was the same friend who recommended that I
read your site to see what I thought. All I can say is that I am
glad that I did because I couldn't believe it when on the first
night I put them on as soon as I felt my legs start to jitter
and low and behold it just stopped. Still can't believe it could

Anxiety "I bought a pair of MAD-1s
for my 16 year old daughter, who suffers from serious anxiety,
and they have proved to be nothing short of a miracle! My
daughter has always suffered from anxiety and stress, and she
suffers particularly badly when it comes to important events
like exams or social occasions, she would even get totally
flustered if she was asked to read out-loud in

"Thanks for your letter, it helped clarify a lot of
things for me. I am now 32 years old and have suffered from
anger since I was a child. I have heard it so many times 'calm
down', if only I could! I did an anger management course after a road rage incident, the course was OK as far as it went, but it didn't change the way I was feeling inside, I felt like the people didn't understand me and what rage was really like. I thought that is was just my personality and that I would have to live with being like this forever. I read through the handbook and tried my first treatment and I really couldn't believe it when the irritability just seemed to melt away and I found myself feeling abnormally calm! It could just of been the relief, I don't know, but I also felt like crying. It felt like I had been carrying this huge balloon of anger around with me for all these years and then someone had just walked up to me and taken it away. Stress

"As a practising osteopath I see all sorts of people with many
types of problem and it is often apparent that many of their
physical complaints, such as frozen shoulders and lower back
pain, are related to or stem from their emotional problems.
Although I can treat their physical bodies and listen to their
problems, there has often been very little I could do or suggest

Premenstrual tension - PMS

Weight control
"When I found your
website I was looking for something about acupuncture and weight
control as I had heard that it could be very good at helping
people overcome addictions and cravings. I am very thankful that
I came across your site and the MAD-1, as I was not looking
forward to all those needles. I have always tended to reach for
food when I have felt depressed, stressed, tired or just bored,
but it is only recently that I have really come to realise that
my weight problems were connected to my need to change the way I
was feeling. I have tried all the usual diets and all with the
same result, 5lb heavier at the end! Of course, I realise now
that I was not dealing with the underlying problem, which was

Addictions "The mad-1 has been a big
support to me in my battle against alcoholism, I've been dry for 8
months now, a record for me. I started drinking when I was 13 years
old, I'm now 39, I would beg, borrow or steal just to get a drink,
something I am not proud of. I went on to drink everyday and relied
on it to give me confidence at work or in social situations. I have
tried many times to quit drinking, especially when my health was
particularly bad, but with little success. During the course of
various rehab programmes I've been through, I recognised that I used
alcohol, even as a child, to change the way I was feeling, as a kind
of emotional escape root from my feelings of depression and
inadequacy. The fact of the matter was that there was nowhere for me
to turn to when I was young to get any help and that is when the
damage was really done. The MAD-1s really are great as they actually
do change the way I feel, and it gives me a realistic alternative to
reaching for a bottle. I only wish that I had had some of these
devices when I was young, I think that it could of changed the
course of my life. I guess that's why I am writing this, because if
