Why is Carpal Tunnel syndrome so difficult to heal?

Carpal tunnel syndrome can be difficult to heal as the tendon that runs trough it, in common with all tendons, has a very poor blood supply, which means that they heals very slowly compared to muscle or skin. The problem is made worse, as every time the inflamed tendon is moved it creates more damage to its self and the surrounding tissues because of the confined space through which it is moving.

Complete rest and immobility of the affected area is the traditional treatment, but this is very inconvenient and often does not provide a complete healing of the injury. All to frequently carpal tunnel syndrome becomes a chronic condition for which the last resort is surgical intervention.
Surgery is designed to relieve the inflammatory pressure by severing the carpal ligament. This procedure not only alters the mechanical function of the hand and wrist but has a estimated  57% failure rate. This failure to relieve symptoms is usually related to the development of scar tissue and is also due to  the fact that the real disorder, chronic tendonitis, was never actually treated.

A combination of scar tissue and unhealed tendonitis means that many surgical patients continue to experience symptoms for the rest of their lives.

How can I heal Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?

A normal tendon is very sleek and smooth and glides effortlessly through the surrounding tissues. However, when a tendon has been over-used or poorly nourished, parts of it can become inflamed and these areas of inflammation become rough (like a callus) which causes it to rub against the surrounding tissues, leading to even more inflammation and pain particularly in an enclosed space such as the carpal tunnel.

In order to provide and effective treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome you have to reduce the inflammation and heal the affected tissues as rapidly as possible, i.e.  the rate of regeneration of new healthy tissue cells must exceeds the rate of damage which is occurring. In the case PEMF therapy, size really does matter! I had suffered from carpel tunnel syndrome for a long time and I finally decided to have surgery, firstly on my left wrist and then on my right wrist after my recovery. However, 10 weeks after the surgery on my left wrist, it was no better, in fact it was worse. My physio friend told be about your product and I decided to give it a go. I am so glad I did. I just thought I would let you know how pleased I am with the results of using your mad1s. I recently started working at my local supermarket but rapidly developed pain in my wrists when I moved them, which was diagnosed as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. My mum had an operation for carpel tunnel a few years back and it just made matters worse, so I didn't want to go down that road!
